Set Data Residency Location

Checklist for Jira ENTERPRISE currently allows you to select between EU and USA data residency locations.

Jira supports data residency in Standard, Premium and Enterprise plans.

If you have not pinned your data to a specific location, Atlassian will determine where it will be located, and may move it to another location at their convenience.

You can cancel a data residency move that is scheduled for the future, however, once the move is in progress, it cannot be cancelled. See the Atlassian documentation for more information about canceling a scheduled data residency move.

Jira Instance Pinned to EU or US

If your Jira instance is pinned to the EU or the US, then Checklist for Jira (Enterprise) will automatically host your checklist data in the same location your Jira data is hosted.

f your Jira instance is unpinned, or pinned to a data residency location not currently supported by Checklist for Jira (Enterprise), then your Checklist data won’t be pinned to any location and is a subject of optimisation between supported regions.
