Filter and Grouping Options
Portfolio provides multiple filtering options including Jira hierarchy, issue type, assignee, project, status and priority. You can also include additional fields to the table view (see below) and then use these fields for filtering and grouping.

Select the appropriate filter/grouping option.

Add Columns (Table View)
You can add columns for any supported field to the table view. Once added the field will be available for grouping and inline editing.
To add a column:

Select the field you want to add to the view. If the field you want to add does not appear in the search dropdown, you can select using the search option.

Add a Field and Its Values to Work Items
The table view allows users with admin permission to add new fields and their values to Jira work items (even if the field is not currently on the work item screen/layout). To add a field to a work item:
Select a Portfolio that includes the appropriate Jira project.
Select the Table view.
Click on the + Add column button.
Select the field you want to add.
From the table, click into the field cell for the appropriate issue and type/select the desired field value.
An error message will be displayed to tell you that the field is currently not available on the work item screen.
Click on the down arrow to expand the error message. Then lick Fix it for me.
The new field and its value will be:
Automatically added in company-managed projects,
Added the next time the work item layout is opened in team-managed projects.
You can now update the value of the added fields for all work items of that type.
See Capacity Alerts in the Table View
To enhance your experience, we recommend adding the Capacity Alert column to the Table view. This feature allows you to identify any potential capacity issues at a glance. The Portfolio tool calculates future assignments by considering the Original Estimates alongside the dates set for Booking Start and End. If any Assignee is overbooked, a warning icon will appear. You can easily check the details by hovering over the icon, which will display a tooltip indicating the overbooked dates for the Assignee.

Share a Portfolio View
Enhance collaboration and team planning by sharing views of your Portfolio. To share a view:
Use the settings above to create the View.
Click on the Share button.
A URL which you can share with other stakeholders will be copied to the clipboard.
Search for a Jira Work Item(s)
You can use the Search bar from any View to find a specific Jira work item.

Edit Jira Work Items

You can click on the issue key from any View, to navigate to the Jira work item.
Inline Editing from Portfolio Table View
The table View allows inline editing.

Some system-managed fields (Created, Last viewed, etc.) are not editable. An error message will notify you that field cannot be edited.

Select Work Items for Bulk Editing
From the table view, you can use the checkboxes to select Jira work items you want to view, edit or delete.
