Global Checklists are currently in BETA and will be available in Issue Checklist for Jira ENTERPRISE once released. Contact our support team if you currently use Issue Checklist for Jira PRO would like to participate in the Beta.
This example allows you to create issues, including a checklist, on a schedule.
If you are using Checklist for Jira ENTERPRISE , note that this rule cannot be used to create or modify Global Checklists.
Create Issues with Checklists on a Schedule
Ensure the Save local checklist items to Jira custom fields global setting is enabled.
Navigate to Project Settings > Automation (or Jira Settings > System > Automation rules).
Click Create rule.
Select the Scheduled trigger and select the appropriate time interval. Click Save.
Click add component and select New action.
Select the Project and Issue type.
Click on the Choose fields to set dropdown and select Checklist Text.
Set the Summary field for the new issues.
Add the formatted text to the Checklist Text field. Click Save.
Name the rule and click Turn it on.
