Legacy Epics Map was designed to give you multiple views into the progress of a specific Jira project. While Portfolio empowers you to view multiple projects at once, it can also be used to get insights into a single Jira project.

Filter Options

Both allow you to filter for Epic status and work item status, to sort and order Epics and items, to hide empty Epics and items without Epics. In Epics Map view filters are set at the top of the page. In Portfolio, you can use JQL or manually set filters when you create your portfolio. Hiding empty Epics and items without Epics is done on the view.

Upgrade to Portfolio

If you are using the legacy Epics Map version of this app you can upgrade to unlock more functionality.

To Upgrade to Portfolio by HeroCoders:

  1. Go to admin.atlassian.com/billing. Select your billing account if you have more than one.

  2. Select Connect Apps from the side navigation.

  3. Scroll down to Portfolio by HeroCoders and click View app details.

  4. Click on the Paid update button in the upper, right corner.
