Clockwork for Jira - Documentation

May 2026

Now in Clockwork Pro: Timesheet Approvals ✅

Timesheets need a sign-off. Now you can do it inside Clockwork Pro, no spreadsheets required!

What you get:

  • Your Jira admin switches the process

  • Weekly or monthly approval periods

  • Timesheets approved by managers or a selected approver - you decide how you want it to work!

  • Team members submit their timesheets from My Work → Approvals

  • Approvers approve or reject the week with a comment, if necessary

We kept it deliberately simple: a clear yes/no on the week, not a multi-tier compliance system.
A quick weekly habit, more likely to stick.

Turn it on from Clockwork's settings.

Unlimited Timers in Clockwork Lite ⏱️

No more counting. The 300 timers/month limit in Clockwork Lite is gone, every team member can now start as many timers as they need, every month, with no interruptions.

What this means for you:

  • No more blocked timers mid-month, your team's time tracking won't stop just because you hit a cap

  • Automatic timers work worry-free, status transitions, reassignments, and quick start/stops no longer eat into a limited budget

  • No more warning banners or grace periods

  • Scale without friction, growing teams can track time naturally without worrying about running out

Whether your team uses manual timers, automatic timers triggered by status changes, or a mix of both - they all just work now, unlimited.
